Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 amβ5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Dental Dreams at (810) 789-5880; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Flint is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flint follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I waited over an hour in the waiting room for them to tell me they wouldn't see me because of a medication i'm no longer on. I was on a medication while pregnant prescribed by a high risk pregnancy doctor that i don't see anymore since im not pregnant. They want my regular doctor to sign a paper saying im not on the meds anymore (because they just don't believe me or something?) but my doctor won't because he was never the one to prescribe that medication, and they won't treat me without the signed paper by my regular primary care doctor. definitely don't go here if you're on heparin, lovenox or any other blood thinner prescribed by a specialist that isn't your regular doctor or they'll waste over an hour making you wait in the waiting room then refuse to even clean your teeth over a medication over 8 million americans are on (blood thinners)

Awful. I was in the waiting room for over an hour and then they finally brought me back to do X-rays in a dirty room and then expected me to wait another hour+ for the dentist? Insane. I left after 2 hours of waiting after making an appointment!

I visited Dental Dreams for an abcess tooth emergency. They got me in the very next day. Staff was very kind and friendly. The Dentist was gentle and patient. The tooth couldn't be saved so she proceeded to extract it. It was a difficult procedure, but she took her time and did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone. They even have a play area for the kids.

Receptionist is very unprofessional & rude. I was told to expect a call from to schedule another appointment and get a number for an orthopedist. They said thereβs no notes and I was told Iβd have the nurse that seen my son that day call back. She didnβt. The receptionist who was being loud with me decided to call back. Anyone who has young children know before going they will make you feel uncomfortable and the staff there will speak to you however. Dr. Chan was amazing but he definitely needs a new staff.

I had a consultation here and I had a really great experience. The dentist took the time to thoroughly explain everything. The procedures, the steps involved, and what to expect. I really appreciated how transparent he was about the costs before any work is done. That kind of honesty and communication makes a huge difference as a patient. Heβs very knowledgeable, very thorough, and makes you feel comfortable asking questions. The front desk staff was also wonderful. The woman at the front desk was very kind, welcoming, and made the whole check-in process easy and comfortable. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and Iβll be returning in just a few days to have the dental work done. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist who is skilled, honest, and takes the time to make patients feel informed and cared for.
